Ellen Elizabeth Buckler passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 86 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Henry in 2002, son Thomas in 1957, and brother Phil in 2010. Lovingly remembered by her six children: Hellen Buckler, Valerie (Lloyd) Marshall, John (Reet), Tim, Charlie (Kim), and Victor (Charlene). Eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two brothers: Sidney Norris and Robert (Mavis) Norris as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday November 4, 2011 at Cochrane Country Funeral Home, 402 Railway Street West, Cochrane. A celebration of Ellen’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 128 First Street East, Cochrane on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm. If Friends so desire, memorial tributes in Ellen’s memory may be made directly to St. Andrew’s United Church, 128 First Street East, Cochrane, Alberta, T4C1Z3.
