Walter Cheshire

Walter Cheshire of Calgary Alberta passed away Wednesday March 2, 2011

at Rosedale Hospice at the age of 85 years.

Born in Athabasca Alberta August 19,1925, grew up at Looma Alberta and

served with the R.C.A.F. during WW II. He settled in Calgary and raised

three children with his wife Ann of 35 years. He worked for many years

as a Steam Engineer for “Alberta Distillers”.

Walter is survived by his loving partner Patricia McTeer,

brother Charlie (Agnes) of Courtenay B.C. His children, Lynn

(Walter) Pritchette of Surrey B.C. Lee (Susan) of Calgary, Kim

(Pat) Boyle of Kelowna, seven grandchildren ,six great grandchildren

and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Ann in 1989

and his parents and two sisters.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers
