Irina Kharetskaya

Irina peacefully passed away on April 17, 2024. She is survived by her children Alex (Svetlana) and Tanya (Sergey), her four grandchildren, Alex, Dina, and Tal, as well as her two great-granddaughters Ann and Liv.

Irina was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus. In January 2002, she moved to Canada to be closer to her children. From a young age, Irina had a passion for fashion and pursued a career as a fashion designer. She achieved a significant milestone when a coat she designed received a grand prize at a Parisian fashion show. Irina's love for elegance and beauty led her to become a fashion design professor, where she shared her skills with young people and inspired them with her innovation and care.

Aside from her career, Irina was an avid sports enthusiast and competed as a cross-country skier. She also had a deep love for travel and explored many countries around the world during her lifetime.

Above all, Irina was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother. She took great pride in her children's successes and celebrated their achievements wholeheartedly. Her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughters was evident to all who knew her.

Irina departed this world with grace, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
