It is with great sadness that we announce Ed’s passing on December 11, 2014 at 80 years of age. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Joyce, and their sons, Todd, Brent (Sheri), and Trevor (Mona) and his special grandchildren; Cole, Madi, Morgan, and Kieran.
Ed is survived by sisters; Kate, Evelyn, and Ann, as well as by his brothers; Tony (Irene), Ralph (Sonia), and many nieces and nephews.
Born on a farm in Minton Saskatchewan, Ed was known by many for his incredible work ethic and his love for his family above all else. Ed loved sports and always enjoyed a game of pool or cards, but he was most happy in the company of family and friends.
A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church ( 128 First Street East, Cochrane ) on Thursday, December 18th , 2014 at 10:30 A.M. with a luncheon to follow.
