Tricia Joy Preston

Tricia Joy Preston (nee Urban), a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Cochrane on November 26, 2023. She was born on October 15, 1975, in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Tricia will always be remembered for her vibrant spirit, warm heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Tricia had a zest for life that was contagious and brought joy to every room she entered. Her magnetic personality and kind soul touched the hearts of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

Tricia adored her Chocolate Lab Murphy, who brought immeasurable happiness into her life. Murphy was more than just a pet; he was Tricia's faithful companion through thick and thin.

Tricia loved her Snoopy, and the collection she gained over the years shows. With each addition to her collection, she found joy in preserving these timeless treasures.

One of Tricia's greatest joys in life was driving around town in her classic car. She always turned heads with her elegant vintage vehicle and took pride in its meticulous maintenance. Whether it was going for long drives or attending car shows, Tricia would beam with pride while sharing stories about the history and craftsmanship of her beloved classic car.

However, if there was one thing that truly embodied Tricia's spirit, it was Christmas. She carried the magic of the holiday season within her all year round. Decorating her home with twinkling lights and festive ornaments brought immense joy to Tricia's heart. The delight on her face as she unwrapped presents and shared laughter with loved ones during Christmas gatherings will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have experienced it.

Tricia passed away surrounded by her devoted family and friends. In her final moments, she was at peace, knowing that their love and support would endure long after she was gone. Her genuine care and compassion for others will forever be remembered as an inspiration to us all.

Tricia is survived by her loving husband Jeremy, her mother Jennet (Bob), and her brother Tracy (Hilary). She held a special place in her heart for her nephew Corin and niece Echo, who brought so much joy into her life. Tricia's father, Tom Urban, preceded her in death.

To celebrate the incredible life of Tricia Joy Preston, two Celebration of Life services will be held. The first service will take place on Sunday December 10, 2023, at Cochrane RancheHouse (101 RancheHouse Rd, Cochrane) from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The second service will be held on Saturday December 16, 2023, at Regina Funeral Home (4001 E Victoria Ave E, Regina) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. These services will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together to share memories, stories, and support one another during this difficult time.

Tricia will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her infectious laughter, kind-hearted nature, and unyielding love will forever be etched in our hearts. May we find solace in the beautiful memories we shared with Tricia and remember the profound impact she made on our lives.
